About us

Built for the moment.

Fragments Preservation exists to rescue and steward irreplaceable historic materials from humanity-shaping sites, protecting the physical proof of world-changing events so the story survives with the fragment.

  • RescueBefore the last beam falls
  • RecordOrigin and context, kept attached
  • ProtectThe story, not just the material

When the site is gone, the proof is gone.

Across global locations tied to world-changing events, structures and materials are being lost to time, redevelopment and neglect.

We step in before the last beam falls, so legacy is not reduced to a footnote.

Rescue. Record. Protect.

How every site is handled, from first visit to final home.

  1. 01

    Secure access

Coordinate recovery with care and respect for the site, its owners and its community.

  2. 02

    Document provenance

Record origin and context, so the history stays attached to every piece.

  3. 03

    Stabilize and steward

Handle, transport and store materials so they are preserved, not degraded.

  4. 04

    Protect the story

Keep what is true from being lost or diluted as the fragment moves on.

Mission first. Always.

Nonprofit status gives this work the leverage it needs: stronger partnerships, more credible access, grant eligibility, and mission-first funding for rescues that are historically priceless, even when they are not commercially viable.
